'I live my life in widening circles
that reach out across the world...'
~ Rainer Maria Rilke
Tonight I look back in gratitude. I am thankful to have lived another day.
Today is almost gone. There will never be as much time left in my life as there is now. And I promise to use each day well.
Everything is impermanent
but my light shines on forever
in the impact I have
in the kindness I bring
in the joy I pass on
in the compassion I extend
in the higher self I strive to be
in healing myself and then helping others.
Every act and intention lives on.
After my last breath, my impact lives on in the hearts and minds and lives of others.
I am one of seven billion bright lights. I am part of illuminating this universe.
I see grace around me and in me.
As I look back on today, I acknowledge each feeling, as everything will change.
Mistakes become learnings, tears will dry, regrets become lessons, joy becomes calm.
I appreciate the smallest drop of rain and the biggest ray of sunshine.
As the light fades from today, I preserve my light inside.
Gratitude is a daily choice I make
and tomorrow I will look for the light.
Like a sunflower I turn to the light.
Whatever may come and go, my true light shines on.
